You're looking at a vintage 1982 Guild X-702 bass guitar in black. It is very rare. According to "Guitar Stories: The Histories of Cool Guitars," there were only 235 units of this bass produced between 1982 and 1984. Has plenty of marks from use and has a nice relic look. All electronics are in good shape and functioning well. Has a very massive bridge design. One of the most unique body styles you will find. A real head turner. You can find a couple other examples of this bass around the web selling for between $1450 and $1700. Imperfections include: The upper tip of the headstock broke off and then was glued back. It is hard to see and does not affect the stability of the headstock. Truss rod cover is missing. Very small cracks around output jack but feels solid. Thanks for looking!   More info: X-702 manufactured: 1982-84 body: mahogany neck: set mahogany, with rosewood fingerboard scale: 34" overall length: 42" width at nut: 1 5/8" electronics/pickups: two Guild dp-8 single coil bass pickups, two volume and one tone control hardware: BT-4 bridge finishes: as X-701 Packing, Returns, etc:
