Up for sale here is a homemade Whamola. This is a 2 stringed instrument with a single pickup. It has no volume control and has a 1/4" jack in the back. It has 2 Gotah tuning heads and a lever actuater at the top to alter the pitch. This type of instrument is used by Les Claypool of Primus on many of his recordings. It is typical strung with the E and A strings of an electric bass and played with a drum stick. You are able to finger the strings along the fretboard while also adjusting the pitch with the top lever like a whammy bar.
