We're all fans of quality instruments here at ABC Music, and we all got excited when we acquired this 1970's Washburn Banjo! This Gibson-inspired blue grass machine looks alot like a 1960s Gibson RB-250 (same bowtie inlays even) and certainly feels as heavy as one. This instrument produces incredible tone and has excellent playability. Made In Japan instruments from this era (Aria, Iida, etc) with similar features (tube & plate flange, 24-bracket) are often referred to as 'MasterClones' and have a solid reputation as players' banjos. Based on our research, the lack of a serial number dates this back to pre-1978.
