Vintage 1970's Electra SLM 2266 Burgundy Pro Electric Guitar w/ Original Case! Japan, ES-335 Copy!

Up for sale is this vintage 1970's Electra SLM 2266 Burgundy Pro electric guitar. This is a truly wonderful instrument and is unsurprisingly far superior to the instrument that it was made to copy in the same era. This Japan-built Electra is all original right down to the original serial number sticker, with the exception of a recently replaced volume pot.

This particular instrument is in very nice condition for its age, showing only light wear. Most of this wear consists of some scratches on the back in the "belt-buckle" region and, other than that, it's very clean. The original hardware shows some pitting, the worst of which is on the original tailpiece (pictured).

This guitar has just been gone over and set up by our tech. It plays wonderfully with very low, comfortable action. The original frets show some wear, but still have most of their life left in them. The electronics have just been sprayed out and the original humbucker pickups sound great.
The original hardshell case is included and is in fair, sturdy condition. Some of the covering is pulling (especially around the edges, pictured) and one latch is partially missing (also pictured). All of the other latches and hinges are there and function as they should.
