Overview
As it was released in 2004, every model of the Taylor 654ce 12-string Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar sports Taylor's own Expression System, never containing outsourced electronics. With shining abalone inlays and rosettes as well as a Venetian cutaway, the 654ce is comprised of maple for its backs and sides as well as a sitka spruce top, typical for many of Taylor's guitars. Due to its body type, the 654ce is sleeker and a bit slimmer than your typical grand auditorium guitar, demonstrating a few qualities of the classic dreadnought shape.
