The legendary Ludwig Black Beauty snare drum starts with a single sheet of brass. It's machine drawn and spun into a seamless beaded shell, then chrome plated to an exquisite finish. An American classic, the Black Beauty delivers a warm, fat, metallic tone that cuts through a thick mix like nothing else. Fitted with Ludwig's P85 Supraphonic strainer, the Black Beauty is super responsive, no matter how hard or soft you hit it. Due to a complex manufacturing process, they're not easy to make, so the Black Beauty is only available in limited quantities each year from Ludwig USA. The Ludwig legacy

Since 1909, Ludwig drums have had one of the proudest legacies in percussion and are a favorite of Sweetwater drummers for their warm, punchy sound. The world has heard them under the sticks of Cream's Ginger Baker, keeping the pulse behind Queen at Live Aid, and laying down the monstrous beat of Led Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks." But their biggest break came when Ringo Starr proudly played them on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, making Ludwig a household name for aspiring and superstar drummers alike.

For returns. If the item is no as described, we will pay the shipping back to us. Unfortunately, we have had quite a few instances of buyers just wanting to try out the item. If that is the case, we can't lose the shipping costs associated with the transaction, so the buyer would have to pay shipping back to us and when we receive the item in the same condition we shipped it in, we will refund the payment minus our original shipping cost. Also, we don't want you to buy a guitar that you are not happy with, and we understand that sometimes guitars and players just do not bond. We are having a lot of returns lately for no reason. This gets very expensive and frustrating from our stand point. We are out the shipping plus the time it takes to receive the item back and relist it, plus we lose all the original potential buyers that were watching the item. We are going to have to start charging a 10% restocking fee on top of the shipping to cover our costs and lost time. We will gladly work with you on this, but if you are just sending the guitar back because you wanted to try it out, we can't accept a straight return on it. If you want to trade it back on something else we will definitely work with you on voiding the restocking fee. Thank you for understanding.
