Great open and natural overdrive with a boost that pushes the mids and saturation a bit. This pedal has a pull phat boost on the bite control. I prefer the phat on. Plenty of lows available with the bark control. This pedal is definitely bright. At low gain, this pedal shines by adding a very open an uncompressed sparkle. Push this pedal with a more mid heavy overdrive and some beautiful tones happen. I found this pedal fantastic with humbuckers due to its clear and bright nature. I bought this pedal new and it's just like I received it. Mint for all practical purposes. No box. The pedal is dated 5-9-14 so it's pretty new and Scotty is obviously building again.
