For sale is a Gibson F-2, 3 point mandolin. It was made in 1908 and is more of a players instrument. It is all original minus the case. It has the original pickguard, tailpiece, handel inlaid tuners, bridge. The frets are in good shape and the mandolin plays and sounds amazing. The peghead broke when it was dropped years ago, it was repaired very well, Super stable If you were to do the finish better almost undetectable. The neck also has a slight flat spot. The peghead is missing the small side of the scroll. I believe the nut is original. The body has no cracks and is in fantastic shape. Original finish minus the peghead. Has a new tkl case that fits great. I am not a mandolin player and am selling this one for a buddy of mine. If you have any questions let me know.
