Meinl's Byzance Vintage Benny Greb Sand Cymbal Set is one of the most distinctive and gorgeous high-end cymbal sets we've seen at the Drum Center of Portsmouth. This set is comprised of vintage-vibed, highly musical cymbals that complement each other in an extraordinary way. This sonically matched set contains a pair of 14" Sand hi hats, a 20" Sand ride, an 18" Sand Thin crash and a FREE 16" Trash crash.
The hi hats have a warm feel and are capable of a wide range of expression. The original 20" Sand Ride has a tight, clean stick sound, juicy bell and expansive crash. The ultra-thin 18" crash opens up right away with an aggressive attack and mellow decay. The FREE Trash Crash has holes of varied sizes and shapes, producing wide tonal spread and trashy decay.
