Early 90s Rickenbacker 2060 El Dorado in Black

Here's one you don't see every day! This unique American-made Rickenbacker El Dorado 2060 is equipped with 2 passive humbucking pickups that have height adjustments on the back of the body! A bolt-on neck with gold plated Schaller tuners & hardware make for a sturdy & easily maintained bass! Controls are master volume and master tone. This bass plays as great as it looks and has a fat, very lightly-finished maple neck that has a big vintage feel, reminiscent of a Fender Precision Bass. Similar in tone to the Rickenbacker 4004 bass. Hard shell case included!

Some minor play wear is present on the back and front of the body consistent with moderate use. Some finish checking has started on the body of this bass, but does not affect playability or tone. The 17th fret under the G string has come partially unglued, causing it to mute the 16th fret. Not tooled for fretwork here, so selling as-is, some action will be needed to repair this fret. There are no other dead spots on the neck, and plays quite smoothly. This is a rare and quite obscure Rickenbacker instrument, you might never see another one!
