Lowden 25th Anniversary O Brazilian Rosewood Cedar 9 of 101

This Lowden O is part of the 25th Anniversary series and carries serial number 9 of the 101 guitars that this series includes. This Lowden originates from a collector and the condition is accordingly.

The story is as follows; In November of 1998 a visitor to the Lowden factory brought a Lowden with serial number #1. The first guitar that George designed and built. This was an excellent reminder that Lowden has come a very long way. And to complete this long journey, George designed this limited edition model.

The back and sides consists of beautiful Brazilian rosewood, combined with a cedar top. One of the aspects that make Lowden guitars exceptional is the attention to details and craftsmanship, which is mainly reflected in the use of purflings on the two-piece back, the sides and the top which is completed by the 9-part rosette. The fretboard is also bound and inlaid with rosewood and koa, and is completed with the unique St. Patrick's Snake-Celtic mother of pearl / abalone inlay, which is also incorporated in the headstock. This 25th Anniversary Lowden O is in near mint condition. CITES included.
