Featuring Yamaha Proprietary Trans Acoustic technology with built-in Hall Reverb, Room Reverb, and Chorus, a System 70 TransAcoustic + SRT Piezo pickup, and a solid Engelmann spruce top, the the rich tone and inspiring effects of this guitar will capture everyone's attention wherever you're playing.Yamaha Proprietary Trans Acoustic Technology with Built-In Hall Reverb, Room Reverb, and ChorusAn actuator installed on the inner surface of the guitar back vibrates in response to the vibrations of the strings. The vibrations of the actuator are then conveyed to the body of the guitar, and to the air in and around the guitar body, generating authentic reverb and chorus sounds from inside the body.System 70 TransAcoustic + SRT Piezo PickupThree simple knobs let you adjust the degree of effect applied and the line out volume level. Additionally, keeping the controls small minimizes the area of the holes in the body material, reducing acoustic sound loss. Included is a Chorus Control, Reverb Control (Room / Hall), and TA Switch / Line Out Volume Control.* Pressing the TA Switch for more than 0.3 seconds activates the TA function. * When a cable is connected to the line-out jack, the line out volume can be adjusted by rotating the TA Switch / Line Out Volume Control knob. * The reverb type switches from Room to Hall around the 12:00 position.Solid Engelmann Spruce TopEngelmann spruce, which also grows in western North America, is a common alternative to Sitka. Because it is in lesser supply than Sitka, Engelmann often costs more. It's a lighter and less stiff variety than Sitka, and it has stronger overtones and weaker fundamentals. An Engelmann top typically has less headroom than one made from Sitka, and its sound can suffer a little when played loudly. "Engelmann is a good choice for players who want a more complex sound when playing softly," says Bourgeois. Adding that European spruce shares characteristics with Engelmann, but has more headroom, making it ideal for players with a stronger attack.Features:Yamaha Proprietary Trans Acoustic Technology w/ Built-In Hall Reverb, Room Reverb, & ChorusSystem 70 TransAcoustic + SRT Piezo PickupSolid Engelmann Spruce TopOvangkol Back & SidesCase Not IncludedGet your Yamaha CG-TA Classical Nylon String Acoustic-Electric Guitar today at the guaranteed lowest price from Sam Ash with our 45-day return and 60-day price protection policy.
