Dean RC7 Metallic White

Excellent condition Made in Korea Dean Rusty Cooley 7 string. Everything on the guitar is original (not counting strings) and in excellent working condition.

I added a YT movie of me playing Diary of Jane. They normally use 6 strings, but a 7 string is close to their regular Drop Bb tuning.

The guitar has no scratches or dings, the only sign of usage are light swirl marks below the pickups that are really only visible when you hold the guitar against a light.

I gigged with it maybe three times and had used it at practice, otherwise it has not seen a huge amount of use (I have two other RC7 guitars).

I do have a USA RC7 as well and can compare the two. This Korean made guitar actually holds up very well in comparison. It is a little lighter, the neck is not as thin (but still very thin and comfortable, like an Ibanez Wizard neck), the pups are exactly the same I think, and the Floyd Rose works just as well. The pickup selector is not as heavy-duty as the USA made but pretty much standard for an imported model. Volume knob turns easily and makes no scratching sounds. Fret work is impeccable, as is the finish. Actually the headstock finish is better done on the import than on my Xenocide USA.

This guitar is a joy to play and has only seen comparatively little use because I have another RC7 import and the aforementioned USA made RC7.

Included is the original Dean hard shell case. The case does have quite a few dings and cuffs on the outside, but it is not structurally impacted and completely solid, it is like new inside, and all three hinges/locks work perfectly.

I'm throwing in a set of strings and a Jeff Loomis DVD.
