Beautiful Honey Burst finish Super 400/L5CES Lawsuit Era Copy. This finish option is more of a amber brown and hard to come by as most where Bright Cherry SB. This one has retained its beautiful finish due to caring owner.

Original Pickups probably Maxon, stock. Sound Great through Jazz amplifier.
Sounds great acoustically as well as plugged in.
Craftmanship/Features?
Hand Crafted by master Japanese Luthiers from the Ibanez Hoshino factory in Matsumoku Japan.
The best and most important thing to note about any guitar is its neck and playability, this guitar has the best neck and fretboard I have ever played and I have played original vintage Gibson Super 400's as well as L5's. The luthiers have outdone themselves at the attention to detail and craftmanship on this guitar. you cannot find a pro level Super 400 for this money, not even an L5CES. They are all 10K and up. This is a pro level not a cheap copy. This was the elite level/top of the line and boy it shows, great work. The luthiers tried to match exact specifications including full 17" body and multi ply binding throughout. Has a high grade Sitka Spruce top, figured Birdseye maple back and sides,and a very nice triple binding throughout all around body and neck. Even the Pickguard is made out of the same materials you would find on an elite Gibson. Bridge is dense ebony wood w/ inlay as is the fingerboard. Gold plating throughout. Tailpiece is not a thin sheetmetal copy but a high quality steel reproduction with attention to detail. Has some slight discoloration on gold hardware from age.
How does it ship? Case? Ships in original heavy grade Hard shell case with dark brown velvet interior. (Nice) Arch top. Shipping will be $50 USA. Contact for overseas shipping. Will ship international but will not be cheap. I will pack this guitar very good, pro level w/ Pickguard removed as it is original and very expensive to replace.
Mods? Only Mod is a tuner change to German machine heads, of course you want your guitar to stay in tune. Nice job on tuner change as well. Someone cared.
