PLEASE read full description!
This is a 2002 John Petrucci JP6 Solid Body Guitar with all original hardware/Pick ups/neck & body minus the volume and tone knobs. (Those are aftermarket)
The original color was Pearl Red Burst.
This was a paint refinish home project gone wrong!...
The guitar still plays and sounds great but the paint job is bad!!
Guitar body, Guitar headstock & back of neck were all sanded down and painted with model paint. From the sanding process there are many imperfections and divots throughouts the guitar body, the wood around the toggle switch was sanded so thin that it broke through to the underneath cavity. (pic shown.) The headstock logo is a decal, as origional logo and JP Signature was sanded off. there are some random paint chips as well as on the back of the neck you can feel the paint line where it meets the fret board. there are paint smudges underneath the headstock from hanging on a guitar hanger too soon before paint dried. There are no strap pegs on the guitar. again please know this was a project guitar but is a real music man JP6. this needs some love and someone who can fix it. It deserves so much more love.
Thanks
