Fully Restored Magnavox 9304 Stereo Tube Power Amp - Customized, Upgraded, Plug And Play Ready!

For sale is a fully restored Magnavox 9304 console amp. This classic power amp has been upgraded on top of being fully electronically restored. Specific signal and power supply capacitor updates were applied that help increase bass performance (stouter power supply and higher value coupling caps). The speaker terminals were also upgraded and a power switch was added. The rest of the electronic restoration and cosmetic details are below.

The power amp was upgraded with modern low ESR capacitors and film caps for the post phase inverter coupling caps, adding the missing balance resistors(standard faire on these amps). We then replaced the bad power cord, installed an internal fuse and fitted a cool high quality (USA made) rocker switch. Banana terminals were also added to make connecting speakers a lot easier. A really nice quad of Japan made EL84 (on Mullard tooling!), a very nice pair of real Mullard 6EU7 and a black plate 5U4 round out the tube compliment. This amp is setup to be plug and play ready and perform consistently.

We can also add simple mods like a cool pilot light for no additional charge. There is plenty of room and we have the parts on hand to customize these amps.

We focus on maintaining originality where possible while making tasteful upgrades. These amps are considered classics for a reason...they sound AMAZING even in their stock form driving high efficiency speakers such as Klipsch. These little amps kick out some seriously nice sound that belies their small stature! Clean and incredibly detailed highs, tight yet balanced bass and a sweet, singing midrange. This is everything we expect from a high dollar tube amp, yet it can be had in this much more affordable package!
