About This Listing

1930’s Stromberg Voisinet Parlor Guitar
This unique parlor guitar is built of the following:
* Solid Birch Top, back and sides
* Rare Rose-Red finish
* Pearloid/Mother-of Toiletseat fingerboard & pick guard
* “Lily of the Valley” carved head stock back
* Original tuners (to the best of my knowledge!) that work well!
* Ladder bracing inside
* White & Checker bound body (top) and white bound back.
* Beautiful Hawaiian Palms, Moon, beach decal (that is in great shape all these years later!)

**Note: this instrument is set-up as a Lap steel guitar because of neck warp and high action (17/64” at the 12th fret, see pictures of neck)
Other than neck warp, the guitar is in excellent condition, but because of high action, we listed it at “fair.” We currently have it tuned to open "D" and strung with DR Veritas 0.011"- 0.052" strings to save on neck pressure. **
