A fairly untouched Stratocaster from 1957? Yes, it’s true.

Every component and the wiring on this beauty are 100% stock, as it shipped from the factory in March 1957 (as shown by the body date in the neck pickup cavity).

The electronics are all-original—even the solder connections are
untouched, showing that the pots (dated 4th week of 1957) and switch were never replaced. The deluxe Kluson tuning machines have the single-line logo on the back, further evidence that this guitar is a veritable time-traveler from the original-era of Fender.

Designed for comfort, the maple neck sports a “Medium V” profile, which was common for the period when players relied more on first-position chords than speedy upper register soloing.

OVERVIEW
'57 was a great year for the Strat and is considered a "classic" year by most collectors. The 57 Strat is similar to its original counterpart with a few exceptions. This particular model features an off center seam alder body and a hardtail string through body bridge. It's almost unbelievable that this guitar is in such amazing condition.

NOTES
Pristine condition, all original, body and date stamps match. Serial #: 22269. Small evidence of play around the 2nd fret. Farmer chords etc. 3 inch mark along the bottom of the body that can be seen in the light but pretty hard to notice otherwise. Some light marks surrounding the body. A very fresh guitar.

FEATURES
Offset seam alder body with 2 Color Sunburst Lacquer Finish, One-piece bolt-on maple neck with 7.25" radius fingerboard, nickel-silver frets, hand-wound single coil Strat® pickups, 3-way pickup selector switch, 1-Ply white pickguard, string through body hardtail Strat bridge, Kluson Deluxe tuning machines, wing string tree.

BENEFITS
Offset seam alder body, string-through body hard tail bridge.
