Marshall JCM 800 Hopkins Modded High Gain "Lilith" 1987 Black/Gold

Take the time to watch the attached video. I try to pass the savings on to you the customers but we all have seen the inflation of stock Marshall JMP & JCM 800's over the last 2 years not to mention Ebay & Reverb increasing Fee's.

This is the first "Lilith" Mod. ALL TUBE: Much like my Pandora but with many changes to cathodes, anodes plates & voltages. In addition this is all tube with no global bypass-able SAT clip like the Pandora, Friedman BE 100's & many others.
This amp has a Metropoulos Zero Loss Effects Loop on DPDT bypass switch.
Lilith features Two New Enhancements on DPDT's which all three switches are laid out nicely.
First is SAG: This allows the amp to become more chewy so a guitarist can bend a note seven ways from Sunday if desired. I find it very inspirational to use. This will also add a bit more gain while adding to the brown sound.
Second is Bounce: This allows the preamp to tighten up a bit giving the feel of a little stiffer string response while cutting gain very slightly. Perfect for plugging into Low Gain and nailing out those AC/DC tones.
Of course both switches may be used in any combination on both High & Low Gain inputs to isolate your perfect tone.
Lastly I installed a Depth Mod (Resonance) on a 1Meg pot in order to add more Low end in order for the user to dial in to variety of  speaker loaded cabinets.
The amp responds well to rolling down the guitar volume to clean up the signal.
