1964 Framus Teenager Parlor style guitar in sunburst finish and in nice vintage shape, the top seems refinished. All original and working properly. Straight neck with low and confortable action with no fret buzz and frets in nice condition. The tailpiece adds a good amount of sustain to the surprisingly rich sound that comes out from this little beauty.
“Wander"-guitars were manufactured since the founding of the company in 1946 and was also the denomination at Framus for beginner models, Spanish models, lady and youth models, etc. Solid fir tops and set mahogany necks are a testament of the early quality work and proven instrument manufacturing traditions. The most striking and certainly most famous model of this kind is the Framus-Camping with its distinctive finish.
The names of the other beginner instruments also tell a lot about the zeitgeist of the fifties and sixties: Framus Teenager, Maya, Hausmusik, Cowboy, Comtess, Serenade, Princess - just to name a few. Those were the names that excited the imagination of every C Major acrobat!
