Serviced Sony CDP-45 CD Player - Made September 1986, Ultra High Quality Burr Brown PCM54HP DAC Chip!

For sale is a serviced Sony CDP-45 CD player. This classic CD player is from September 1986 and looks as great as it sounds! The transports in these are GREAT quality and the performance is classic Sony - clean and clear sound with great punch and balance throughout. The analog section has great drive and this player does a good job of staying out of the way of the music. The ultra high quality Burr Brown PCM54HP DAC uses ultra high precision NiCr resistors to ensure great linearity and distortion figures.

Please study the pics carefully for cosmetic condition. It's in nice shape overall with mostly marks on the top but a clean face.

For servicing, the entire transport was pulled apart, the laser was carefully cleaned, all old lubricant was removed and replaced with ultra high quality modern lubricants. The belt was replaced with a high quality modern replacement. The transport moves in and out flawlessly exactly as it did when it was first made again!
