PRICE WWAAYY Lowered! Must sell! Super deal for a rare and genuine Fender Custom Shop guitar. Rare '92 "Holoflake" Strat! In ultra-rare factory Black Holoflake finish! Thick and slabby rosewood fretboard, 5-pos switch. Originally factory-fitted w/ mother of toilet seat (angular pearl) pick guard - see photos - and Custom Shop Texas Special pickups. This guard was removed and replaced with a custom pin-up girl PG. Selling with re-installed original pick guard! (Pin-up Bettie not for sale - but you are welcome to make an offer)
Comes with OHSC! Some of the original case-candy still in there.
BLUES, ROCKABILLY, SURF and TWANG PLAYER'S DREAM GUITAR!
HOLOFLAKE is a black nitro finish with prismatic holographic flakes that cause all kinds of cool effects. When red light hits the guitar, it lights the red sparkles, when green hits it it turns green, etc. But when WHITE light hits it, it creates rainbow effects like a prism. You get the full spectrum across the elbow bevel on the front, where the finish bends.
** Video is of 1994 found on YouTube. It's a maple-board but you can see the nice rainbow-prismatic sparkles.
*** Photo #11 is a STOCK PHOTO - not actual item. All other pics are of the guitar taken at the time of the listing. Showing guitar with original pick guard.
**** I have not weighed the guitar but rest-assured it is on the lighter side. I'd guess somewhere between 7 and 8lbs.
