So we simply wanted to make a guitar line dedicated to these genres, designed from the ground up in order for us to pay special attention to tone, detail and of course quality. 

J&B arch tops are the real deal and offer incredible value. It’s been many years since Alvarez created guitars with electro-magnetic pick-ups, and we wanted to make these instruments special. What was refurbished on this guitar:

When this guitar came in from the factory, the authorized refurbisher couldn't find anything wrong with it. No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. It looks and plays like new. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.
