This is one of the better sounding ollandoc guitars and has the real seymour duncan 59's. It has been upgraded by Andrew Olson of AO guitars to be as close to a languedoc as possible! The wiring harness was designed by ao guitars to have a master coil tap and a master series parallel switch (just like a doc) as well an upgraded paper and oil capacitor (sozo vintage mustard cap) which according to Andrew he believes that is what Paul uses in the languedoc. He also made a nice brass string retainer that fits in the tailpiece to replace the really not so great tin one that comes stock on an ollandoc. I also replaced the Chinese tuning pegs with mini gotoh tuners (the mounting holes of the old tuners were not filled due to cost of the finish work required to fill them but this has no effect on the tone of this guitar). He also got rid of the bourn mini pots and put in full sized cts pots which have a much better taper and also come in a real Languedoc. Andrew also did a full fret job on this guitar. As if that weren't enough he also put on a real unbleached bone nut and I ordered an all brass custom saddle from compton custom bridges. Oh yea. He also added a 3rd height adjustment screw so the angle of the pick ups can be adjusted and upgraded to stainless steel height adjustment screws and modded them so the will never become microphonic. This was originally a blemish model from Robert Olson because of some minor finish blems on the low E string side of the fret board where the dots are. There are 3 spots. One by the nut, one on fret 17, and one on fret 23. But this shade of koa model he had was the best by far and he doesn't have them anymore so the minor blems were totally worth it to me to have such a great looking guitar plus I saved a Lil money. There is one small impression I put  on the face by the bridge base but it's so small I can't even get a picture of it to show you and of course some minor finish guitar pick spots from playing it so much. I originally paid $1350 for it and put over 650$ into it. I'm selling for the original price I paid. And yes it comes with the original case it came with. You can YouTube ollandoc and look for the videos by Keaton. I will fully insure this guitar with the shipping carrier. Because of the floating bridge you may need to take the guitar to a tech to be intonated. This guitar is awesome and trust me you will be happy you bought one that has already had all the work done to it instead of buying one new and realizing you need to drop a good amount more on it to get it to be great!
