OLP Stingray 4 string 2000s -Quilted Maple Top

 OLP Stingray Bass. OLP stands for Officially Licensed Product. This was a company by Musicman that was used to make their budget line of Musicman Stingray 4 and 5's before the current budget Sterling line was made. You often see Black or Blue ones, with black or chrome hardware, this was a pretty nice special edition one that was a more deluxe model, it has a flamed maple top with matching headstock and tortoise shell pickguard. Also if you look at the bridge its a nicer unit then most OLP basses, its closer in appearance and build to a real musicman bridge then most OLP basses.

It is totally original, no changed parts. It had sat for awhile so when I got it my tech went over it, the frets were dulled, he polished them nicely so they are shiny. The electronics were cleaned, so was the pickups pole pieces which had rusted. He adjusted the action and the truss turned very nicely. Its a pretty good replication of a active musicman but this is a passive bass. It has 3 knobs, the first 2 are volume knobs, they operate separate sections of the coil (attaching a video to show) and the last is a master tone.
