Description and Product Information: 

Light cosmetic blemish. Slight smudge at end of the fingerboard. Guitar has been tuned and played and sounds great. Neck is fine with no fret wear. Because of lower price and blemish it is sold without warranty. It is lightly marked used on the back of the headstock. 

This Fender DG-60 acoustic guitar is in near mint condition; it is refurbished. All we did was some polish work on the back of the guitar. So there aren’t any scratches, scuffs or dents/dings. It’s a very nice playing guitar. The great choice of body wood, combined with Fender’s craftsmanship makes it a rugged and durable guitar, absolutely ready for the stage when you want to take it there.

Should you purchase a refurbished guitar? It is, of course, your decision but we would ask that you think of this: A refurbished guitar is really just a guitar that cannot be sold as new. It does not mean there is something wrong with the guitar. A new guitar that is purchased and then returned cannot be sold as new again. A guitar that has been displayed at a trade show cannot be sold as new. And so on.

By the time I get the refurbished guitar, it has been inspected at least three times and repairs, if necessary, have been made by certified repairmen. I inspect and test it again to make sure that pickups and controls function properly, the neck is straight and that the truss rod is properly functioning. Some guitars do have repairs. If they are visible, a photo will show the repair. These will have been played and usually sell at significant discount. They are fantastic deals.

Gibson/Epiphone requires their items be designated as Seller Refurbished. Don’t let it concern you; the guitars have received the same careful attention as those marked Manufacturer Refurbished.

Again, if anything is noticeable, I will provide a photo and comment. I do not purchase guitars with other than the highest rating. All of our refurbished guitars have a small “used” or small “s” stamp on the back of the headstock and have a new serial number. This prevents duplicate dealer claims and protects the dealer, the manufacturer and the final purchaser.

Note that we will ship guitars tuned down by several steps to relieve the stress on the neck. Also extremes in temperature may cause finish checking in some guitar finishes. If weather conditions vary wildly between your location and ours, checking may occur. We are not responsible for weather related finish checking on any instrument.
