The Brit-made Baldwin Guitars & Basses were some of the hippest items for sale during the mid to late 60's in the UK w/the help of Rock & Roll legend, Hank Marvin's influence. This Bad Boy Black Bass has that cool sharp pointy cutaway body that eventually became the Shadow's signature model in a white version. Its all black finished body & black coated neck are shiny w/the neck finish starting to peel away a bit behind the nut. Along with its outragious Gray Pearloid multi piece devil shaped pickgard is a very striking bass in appearance. Add on those 3 cool single coil pickups surrounded by that metal thumb rest cage & its one of the hottest looking basses on the vintage market. Its only cooler when you study its scrolled headstock w/its plastic Bison Logo ! She's got some Black Nylon strings on it now so a string change & set up would do this bass well. She's excellent overall & comes w/a nice newer hard case.
