Marantz 1200b/120 Tuner 1973/AMP 1975/WC-2/WC-2T Cabinets Walnut Veneer. Silver/black/woodgrain/ Pending Sale 10/10/20

This is a combo of very popular Marantz separate's from the early /mid 1970.The price has changed as I have added brand new reproduction WC-2 cabinets. The cabinet for the tuner is a modified version to better fit the tuner chassis.the cabinets are high density particle board with walnut veneer and tung oil sealier. Photos  5/1.   The ever popular 120 tuner and and American made 1200b intagrated amplifier. I have tried to find out how many of the 1200b were made in California.So far no luck. Was it an entire production run or just a couple hundred in the beginning The printing on the back "percsion crafted in the USA" means mfg in the USA. Even though rated at 100 watts per channel,in reality its more like 120 to 130 watts per channel. Or at least that what is showed on the scope. The top grate is new ,made by an engineer friend of mine .powder coated. The front 5 toggle switches do not have the original smaller silver switch covers. They were missing when i aquired ithe amp. This unit was extensively refurbished R Jones,a retired Master Marantz tech who keeps his fingers in the trade.  This sounds excellent. I do have a completion reported i will include with the unit.
The 120 tuner was completely rebuilt. It was in sorry shape ,my engineer friend took it down to the bare chassis and cleaned every board,recapped it ,Nichicon audio grade caps were use for the electrolytic. The output transisters were replaced. Most of the solders in the entire unit were  resoldered. New velum paper,LED bulbs,the tuner was alined and calibrated. And all controls were cleaned and lubed. I am putting a 90 repair warranty on both units. This is not a return warranty. The units are not returnable for any reasom. These units are pick up only. Any requests for shipping must ve set up by the buyer .I will drop off at fed ex ,UPS, or a local shop that specializes in fragile packing and shipping. This is on the customers dime . It has become to expensive and cist the business to much. Sorry but many if us are going this way.   I Will be including interconnects for both the Turner and the scope . new feet and body screws for the tuner and feet for the amp. Price for the combo is $2600.00 .all throw ins are at full price. I am open to resonable offers. But i am discounting these as a combo.
