PHIL DRISCOLL MIGHTY HORN Bb trumpet by HOLTON (Limited Edition)

AN EXTREMELY RARE PHIL DRISCOLLl MIGHTY HORN Bb Model Trumpet by HOLTON/LEBLANC /with MONETTE MOUTHPIECE
This horn was designed by ROY ROMAN (a World-Class Trumpet Player) for Grammy Award Winner, PHIL DRISCOLL.  There were ONLY 50 OF THESE MADE around the year 2,000  ( There were a few student versions made as well, but this is one of the original SILVER PLATED Pro Models.
THIS PARTICULAR HORN (NOT JUST THIS MODEL, BUT THIS VERY HORN) HAS ACTUALLY BEEN PLAYED BY PHIL DRISCOLL HIMSELF & ROY ROMAN, the designer. I acquired it from ROY ROMAN, & had the privilege of playing a few times with Phil. On at least one occasion Phil played this horn in concert in my presence.  Roy Roman played several of the original horns & picked this one out as being the best one of the bunch before sending it to me. (I was a student of Roy Roman at the time)
AFTER RESEARCHING THE HORN FURTHER, I found that there are no other readily available models that are identical to this horn. I only found 1 or 2 similar, lacquered (not silver plated) that were actually the student version of this horn for less money
I'm ALSO INCLUDING  a GOLD-PLATED MONETTE "B-1-L" MOUTHPIECE WITH IT.  It is stamped "PD" on it for Phil Driscoll. Of course, it is used, but plays like a new one. (Monette mouthpieces do not come cheap!)
This is a NEAR PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL & GREAT BLOWING PROFESSIONAL TRUMPET.  It has a .462 BORE, monel valves, Amado water keys with FULL RINGS for THIRD VALVE SLIDE & TOP OF THE HORN.  (See Photos) There is only one super tiny superficial ding on this horn that is not very noticeable. (and could easily be removed if wanted)
ALSO INCLUDES A BEAUTIFUL, BLACK HOLTON HARD CASE....ORIGINAL WARRANTY PAPERS, ETC. The serial on this horn is 113571
