Korean (Samick) Made Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II w/Hard Case and Amazing Pro Set Up!

I acquired this guitar from a student that is a jazz guitar major at Temple University. It was his gigging guitar and he recently stepped up to a hollow body with a carved top.

I gave this guitar a complete pro set up. Check my feedback, people are thrilled with my set ups! This one received a fret level, crown, dress and polish, finger board moisturize, string height adjustment, hardware tighten and body polish. There are heavy gauge flat wound strings on her, so she has that sweet, mellow sound. The action is very, very low. Check out the pictures of the action at the 12th fret. If you would prefer round wound strings, just specify with your order and I will re-string her for you.

This particular Joe Pass signature was built in November of 1995 at the Samick plant in Korea. These Korean made Epiphones are highly sought after-the build quality is much, much better than their new, Chinese counterparts.

This guitar has a few very minor cosmetic issues that I will describe accurately.

The most serious are two holes (it looks like they were put on for an aftermarket bridge) that were drilled in the top right near the bridge. They have since been filled and are stable. They aren't cracks, this repair is the equivalent to filling holes left when removing the pick guard.

Speaking of pick guards.....there isn't one. It was removed.

There are a few nicks and scratches but nothing serious. The back of the neck is perfect...you won't feel any scratches or dings with your fretting hand. There is some tarnishing of the gold hardware (they all have this) and the case shows its age.
