Vintage Lotus Strat Electric Guitar MIJ 70s or 80s Two tone Red / White Japan

Up for your guitar playing pleasure is a great find, a vintage Lotus strat copy. Exact year unknown but these were built in the late 70's early 80s. These made in Japan guitars are solid, well built players and very inexpensive. They will blow any new guitar out of the water in the same price range, there's no comparison. This one features a smooth maple neck and two tone body finish with original gold bridge, tuners and pickups. (knobs are replacements). The guitar has a lot of natural player wear, previously owned by a total punk rocker he put some mileage on the guitar. There are plenty of small bumps and bruises in the finish, a typicial neck pocket finish crack (not into the wood, will not affect anything) as well as natural wear to the fretboard, see all photos. None of this affects playability. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. We did a basic set up on this and checked everything out, electronics are all excellent, but its a good candidate for a fret level if you want the action super low without buzzing. They have worn into a comfortable groove so this isn't necessary to play the guitar just noting. It sounds excellent and resonates surprisingly loud for a strat unplugged, and with long sustain, that's always the first clue your guitar will sound spectacular when plugged in. Overall this is an outstanding guitar and you cannot beat the price.
