Pretty rare one of a kind 5 string Jazz Bass rosewood neck.
The neck itself is rosewood, the fretboard is ziricote (very similar to rosewood sonically - but even prettier and more unique).
The frets are regular (non stainless steel) 6130s, medium jumbo.
I added the premium graphite rods as well.
The neck was installed only for a few months, and never left the house.
I don't really play 5 string much so i decided to disassemble to fun other quests!
It has the regular warmoth nut. And the 5 GB7 Gotoh tuners are included.
The sound is punchy, woody and elegant. Like a smoother wenge in a way.
And a wider spectrum too, a but more low end extension and less focus only in the mids. It's almost upright territory, but with the wenge punch/attack. Pretty epic.
It was $575 plus shipping when i custom ordered it. So it's basically 50% off.
The weight is 3.3 pounds (with all the tuners already on).
Also I just noticed that one of the string retainers keeps the A string maybe 1mm out of "perfect straight line", over the headstock. I added a picture for you to see what I mean. All the other strings are fine, and it doesn't feel different or affect anything. Just visually it's ever so slightly not 100% straight past the nut. I could also just re-install it if you want. It would take 5min. Cheers!
