This guitar is a one of a kind prototype, hand-built for Dave Koltai of Pigtronix and Supro Amplifiers. I purchased this one of a kind prototype directly from Dave in Feb of 2015 after seeing the various prototypes being displayed and played at the Winter NAMM show. I chose this one in particular because of the maple board and "sweet-spot" placement of the bridge pickup. It is an absolutely awesome guitar I just can't afford to keep it, so I hope it goes to a great collector and player.
The guitar is in great shape, I've played it several hours at home, not gigged. It was displayed, tested, and played at the NAMM show so its not perfectly clean. There are very few light surface scratches/scuffs that aren't really noticeable, a small chip (1/32") in the paint at the neck joint which is visible in the pictures. The guitar has a great overall balance and is really comfortable. The body is thin, comfortable, and resonant. The neck has a super fast and smooth satin finish with a very comfortable asymmetrical carve. The pickups are the jewels of this guitar, they sound amazing, they have great single coil sparkle and clarity, while also having a unique not-quite P90 type of snarl.
Guitar will be professionally double-boxed and shipped, and I'll include a copy of the original receipt. Thanks!

Asymmetric CarveSupro OZ2 Ozark prototype
This one-of a-kind prototype instrument is a re-imagination of a 1960’s Supro solid body Ozark guitar.
The OZ2 combines the classic 60’s Supro body shape with an all new 3-dimensional neck joint designed by California luthier Glenn Sweetwood. This ergonomic new geometry modernizes the playability and upper fret access of the Supro guitar while paying tribute to the original 2-bolt construction.
The OZ2’s uniquely clear and powerful sound is delivered by a matched set of “Kingston” pickups custom made by Ken Calvet of Roadhouse Pickups out of Portland, Oregon. These low-noise, oversize single-coil magnetics are true to the original Valco designed units.
Hand Built Prototype made in Korea by MIRR music (Reverend / Duesenberg / Italia).
