Guild Bluesbird Electric
Guitar in very good + condition with little to no playwear
and just some very light marks on the back. Classic Black finish with creme
binding and chrome hardware. The guitar is set up with a nice action and the
slightly fuller rounded profile mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard
and mother of pearl block inlays has a good feel. The frets are in
excellent condition with little to no playwear.
The pickups are "PAF"
style with a great tone and good output, capable of handling anything from Jazz
to Rock. These guitars were compared to and hold their own with the Les Pauls,
but they are really in a category of their own. The guitar is similar in body
style to a Les Paul, but the body is chambered not "weight relieved" like some
Les Pauls. Some have referred to them as "Semi-Solid" not "Semi-Hollow". This
gives the guitar a snappier more resonant sound, closer to, but not quite like a
semi-hollow. This design is now being used by other manufacturers today.
These Guilds have a tone of their own and have a following for a reason. They
are well crafted, using quality woods--- a great guitar.
Includes the
original Guild hard shell case. Made in the USA.
