Washburn 1987 AF-40V Ace Frehley Signature Guitar OHSC + Gibson Lightning Bolt Strap RARE!

This is an all original ULTRA RARE 1987 Washburn AF-40V Ace Frehley signature guitar complete with its original flight case and a copy of the original sales receipt. This guitar was purchased new from Gilliam Music in Edmond, OK on 5/28/87. Also included are the Wonderbar tremolo arm, original hang tag warranty card, Washburn Wonderbar info sheet and a Gibson Ace Frehley lightning bolt strap. I’ve just had this guitar gone through by my guitar tech and it’s been cleaned up, restrung with 9-46 strings, intonated and is ready to go if you want to play it or is ready to display….up to it you!

These are extremely RARE and do NOT come up for sale very often. I’ve only seen maybe 4 of these for sale over the past 10 years and I bought 2 of them as I’m a huge Ace Frehley fan. I’m only selling this one as I have 2 and it’s time to let some other Ace fan grab one of these guitars.

These guitars were made in Japan in 1987 and 1988 with only around 280 total being made. You can do a google search on these as there’s some information out there and I contacted Washburn myself to verify the serial number and total made. They don't have very good records from that era but the person that replied back to my inquires said he actually worked there at the time these guitars were being designed so he was familiar with them. 

Condition:
Please review all the photos as they are a part of the description and show the guitars condition and what's included. This guitar is now almost 32 years old but for it’s age is in very good condition in my opinion. The Ace Frehley signature is very light as from what I’ve read the signature was silk screened on top of the clear coat and not put under it so it did tend to fade. You can still see it but it’s light as you can see in the photos. The logo has worn off some from the original Washburn pickup as well. There’s no repairs or heavy damage but there are some pick marks on the top, belt buckle rash on the back, a few small chips and dings on the back 2 body points and the headstock. All body points are pictured and I’ve tried to capture photos to show everything. There's also some oxidation on the neck plate bolts. If you want pics of anything else please send me a request. The original flight case is in very good condition, all latches are nice and tight and interior is in good shape. There's a small tear in tolex which you can see. Condition is very subjective but I describe everything as best I can and I do have a 100% positive seller rating. If you have any questions please ask.
