Ok, this is one-of-a-kind:
Neck: Masterbuilt by Jason Davis in the Fender Custom Shop, quarter sawn maple with an ebony board
body: Musikraft alder
Finish: Mark Jenny
Bridge: Fender Custom Shop (7-string version of the locking American Deluxe trem)
Electronics: Lollar Dirty Blonde set, CTS pots
Tuners: Gotoh locking
Here's what I've been told: Jason Davis built the neck for the NAMM show but quit Fender before finishing the guitar. I bought the neck years later and had it completed. The bridge was made for Fender but never used.
Full disclosure: the neck is straight with plenty of room to adjust. When I first got it, it was back bowed. Brian Howard pulled the frets, leveled the board, and refretted. Now it's awesome.
The bridge currently is dive only. To float it, you'd need to enlarge the trem cavity to let the block pitch forward during pull ups.
This is is an amazing guitar. To my knowledge, Fender never has made a true 7-string Strat. They've Masterbuilt some in connection with Alex Gregory, but those have 24 frets and people want $10,000 for them. Squier made some, but they are nothing like this.
This took a lot of time, money, and frustration to put together.
I'm happy to answer any questions.
