And to up the ante, Gibson outfitted this Les Paul Signature with a special Turbo Boost switch, which lets you call up and extra 15dB of totally clear gain. It's like having a boost pedal built right into your guitar!

Your back will love this Les Paul's modern weight relief body

Here's a fact: the same characteristics that make mahogany an excellent tonewood also make it substantially heavier than choices like ash or alder. Over the course of an evening, that extra weight can become extremely tiresome on your back and shoulder. The modern weight relief chambering Gibson chose for the Les Paul Signature get rid of the vast majority of that added weight, without disturbing its fundamental tonal character. If anything, you'll notice a slight increase in resonance, which complements the Les Paul Signature's natural sustain and complex harmonics beautifully.

With the ability to re-tune your Les Paul Signature to DADGAD, Open D, or any other alternate tuning in seconds, you'll have no reason not to experiment in new musical ways. And if you end up writing a new song in an alternate tuning, the Min-ETune system will take seconds instead of minutes to re-tune when you're ready to perform it live.

This guitar has some mild wear from being displayed on our sales floor. There is some light discoloration where the neck and the headstock join (from the nitrocellulose finish reacting to our peghooks) and some very faint scuffing on the back (likely from a jacket zipper or belt buckle). We have included photos of the affected areas, though the scuffing on the back didn't show up very well in the photo. Despite the wear, this is still a brand new guitar. It includes the hardshell case and the full manufacturer warranty.
