Lovie's Guitars San Diego is proud to offer up an authentic vintage 1954 Martin 00-28G Classical Acoustic Guitar with Brazilian Rosewood in Natural finish! This thing is incredible! Possibly the most incredible guitar I have ever had in my hands! The sound fills the entire room with a warm and dynamic tone that seems to reach the soul! The opening of the wood is visually suggested by its glowing amber patina of the natural aged wood! A true vintage acoustic sound is absolutely unmistakable and impossible to replicate. Totally gorgeous! But the vintage wood that makes up this incredible guitar is not just any wood. It is top of the line Sitka Spruce on top and the coveted Brazilian Rosewood on the back and sides. This wood has only become more rare with every passing year as Brazilian Rosewood is no longer used in any production and is on the list of endangered wood species. The Guitar itself is all original but has been put in a more secure Martin case sometime in the 80’s. The case that would have been original to this guitar were made of a sort of cardboard and were inadequate it. This can be one reason it remains in such a fantastic condition over the decades. Martin is a legendary guitar company to this day and is so due to its detailed and expert craftsmanship. This is a chance to own such a guitar and with the irreplaceable vintage quality and rareity due to it’s limited production! Just think, at 62 years old, there is a chance this guitar could turn 100 within the lifetime of some of us alive today! That is SO vintage! Really incredible! And truly in such a great condition (and kept so), its value will only increase with time. The overall condition only has a few light marks here and there and some finish checking from age. There are no cracks or damage to the wood at all. A fully intact, original beauty with out of this world sound! Beautiful vintage condition!
