Note: This item is for users that already possess GUITAR RIG software and wish to have hardware control of the software's parameters.
The Rig Kontrol 3 from Native Instruments is a foot controller that can be used to control nearly all of the GUITAR RIG 3 software sound parameters. Additionally, it features a 24-bit/192kHz USB 2.0 stereo audio interface and preamps that allows convenient connection of a bass, guitar or any other instrument with a computer, without the need for additional hardware.
The two inputs allow the use of two guitars or basses (or one of each) simultaneously, with monitoring available via a dedicated headphone socket. For more real-time access to other parameters, additional controllers and pedals may be connected to two dedicated inputs on the controller, as well as to the MIDI interface section.
- Sturdy foot controller with rugged, black aluminum housing
- 24-bit/192kHz USB 2.0 audio interface 1
- One metal pedal and nine, ultra-solid switches (one under the pedal)
- Each switch has a status LED indicating its status
- Bidirectional communication with the software (Rig Kontrol 3 displays the status of the software and vice versa)
- Four-digit status LED displays current GUITAR RIG preset number
- Two 1/4" TRS inputs with instrument preamps (regular line devices such as synthesizers can be used as well), individual gain controls per channel and signal/peak LEDs
- Two balanced 1/4" TRS outputs with high/low switch (full scale and -14dB, e.g. for guitar amps) and signal LED meters
- Headphone 1/4" TRS output with individual level control
- MIDI I/O with activity LEDs
- Rig Kontrol 3 can be used independently of the audio/MIDI interface selected in GUITAR RIG's Audio and MIDI Setup
- Control data of Rig Kontrol 3 can be recorded to a sequencer automation track
- Powered via USB 2 with no AC adapter or batteries necessary
These are becoming harder to find. Unit works perfectly with Guitar Rig, shows signs of use. See photos.
