Up for sale is this sweet lookin' 1976 Gretsch Chet Atkins "Nashville" in Autumn Red (A really nice Baldwin era finish!) This guitar pumps out classic Gretsch tones and is still in good shape for it's age.
This 7660 features a maple semi-hollow body, maple neck with thumbnail inlaid rosewood fingerboard, dual Filter'Tron pickups, Bigsby tailpiece, a floating ebony bridge that has been "pinned down" with the Adjustamatic bridge, original pickguard, Gretsch arrow knobs, and "humpback" sealed tuners. Bound top, back, fingerboard, and headstock. Original electronics completely functional.
This guitar is in good condition for it's age. It has no body cracks or structural issues, and a nice straight neck with low action. The frets show some moderate wear and there are some divots in the fingerboard near 5 of the middle frets that are not impacting playability or action. No fret buzz! There is a small crack in the wooden bridge where it was pinned down with a screw, but it seems to be repaired well.
Overall this guitar is a nice example with no glaring issues and excellent playability. It includes the original hardshell case. The guitar is a bit grimey in the picture, from plenty of touring/shows but it has since been wiped down.
