Technical Specifications:
- Original dark crack free Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck and bound ebony fretboard with "Long Pattern" diamond inlays have been retained.
- New Adirondack spruce top exhibiting a tight straight grain showing medullary rays or "silking" in the grain.
- "Shade Top" finish was applied by Dale Bartholomew, retired Martin finishing department foreman.
- Top has 42/45 style abalone rosette with wood fiber purfling.
- Top is bordered in herringbone and bound in ivoroid to match the original binding.
- Pre-war 5/16" scalloped Adirondack forward shifted bracing. Hide glue used throughout the conversion.
- Neck is a short scale (24.9") with a 1 3/4" nut. Guitar has been refretted.
- New Waverly tuners, ebony belly bridge with long saddle.
- Back, sides and neck have been oversprayed with nitrocellulose lacquer.
- Action @ 12th fret: 7/64" low E, 5/64" high E.
