This is really a  special and rare made in  Japan  Alvarez  guitar  model 5063 with a solid top & ( this guitar combines vintage Gibson and vintage  made in Japan Alvarez   tone)
stunning flamed maple back.   I have owned and bought and sold many  made in Japan Alvarez guitars but  the tone and look of this one is special and a lot of  guitar for  the money. Really going t mis this  guitar when someone buys it  as it makes me happy every time I play it as sounds unreal. ( real vintage tone) It is bringing out the hedges in my  playing and  writing,  ( has some martin tone in there    as  well) THIS IS SO MUCH  REAL VINTAGE   TONE FOR THE MONEY . I saw one a  while back on the net that sold for a lot more then what I well let this go for and I am throwing in a FREE   gig  bag  a  new one to help is shipping.  Believe me this is a lot of guitar for the money and has a lot of depth and  sweet mountain tone with    some vintager gibson tone in the mix with the great made in japan alvarez Yairi type tone. If I had a  free standing store I would get like  $760 for this at least. This is a lot of   vintage  made in Japan guitar and tone for the money and already  dropped the price a lot so just a  little more room. The cherryburst   finish is just beautiful  and I think this is from  from the  70s like around  77 but could  be early   80s but sometimes a guitar is made   before they add a serial  number to it.Many of the great   sounding guitars  made in Japan Alvarez  guitars Back is darker then in the pics but you can see the flame and this guitar  sounds  amazing and hard to put it down.
from the  70s or  early 89s are all laminate and they still sound unreal like a   great but the  Japanese are experts at the art of making great  instruments and just like many top level  violins and other musical instruments made in   Europe a lot of it is made with laminate wood but if done   right can sound amazing so rare to find on with solid   to like this and stunning  flamed maple back.( very rare) It has some dings on the top and one is a bit bigger and a small ding on the back of the neck but this  guitar has a vintage  Yairi type sound with some vintage  Gibson early 60s tone thrown into the mix.  This guitar looks and sounds amazing and sounds as good or better then any of my  Yairi or 70s Alvarez in my collection and not an easy guitar to let   go of. I have   never heard one  like this that has such nice volume and voice that combines the  vintage alvarez 70s tone with some vintage  gibson tone with a tad of martin  thrown in to the mix. This guitar sounds unreal and plays nice too.

No case but will double box it. At  63 I have been buying and selling and collecting   guitars   for around 40 years but this one really stands out as it has more depth and more of an orchestral   vibe  ( and bloom) then other ones I have heard. My wife used to own a 63 Gibson  J  45 and she said it reminded her of it but with even more  toner and bloom. This is one hell of a  box
and always hard to describe tone but also hear some kind of slope shoulder tone in it  but again with more range of tone and this is a very   special  guitar. This is one of the best ad most  unique sounding Alvarez or   Yairi guitars   I have ever   heard. They should have put the Yairi label on this one as it is a lot of guitar with a beautiful tone. My shipping to the east coast has been running a little more then this so you might need to chip in a little more.
A bit of unevenness behind  bridge which is  common with older guitars  ( even expensive ones) but this guitar blows my  mind as I thought I have already every Yairi and Alvarez  tone out there but this guitar
re-defines what a  great vintage guitar tone can be. I might decide to   keep this and never heard this  much range of tone with this  much  mountain woody Gibson and Alvarez Yairi type sweetness and yes I am excited about this guitar and this guitar will inspire new ideas which is   what a  great instrument does.
No returns or exchanges on this as work to hard   to find great guitars and this one is very
special.
If you live in like  Hawaii, Alaska or  PR  or anywhere where the shipping is a lot more you will need to chip in a little extra. If you want a very special guitar this is it  and video coming soon.
