Fender Stratocaster Sunburst 1965 w/OHSC *Near Mint* [VIDEO]

Near mint condition, with a few honest bumps and scratches. All parts original to the guitar with no modifications, refret or nut replacement. One owner guitar with original case, ashtray and strap. Plays like a dream, and pristine Stratocaster tone.

I have sold many vintage Strats over the years, but this one tops them all. All metals are pristine--they look new! The plastics have not shrunk, and there is only one minor break in the rear cavity cover, but that's it. The tuning machines are perfect, and look new as well. The neck is dead on straight and the truss rod is fully functional. The frets are small, but recently redressed and original. 

This guitar has been babied for 54 years, and it has also not had the neck off nor the harness removed but once, when the guitar was sold--to authenticate it. 

You can find a great Strat at a lower price, but you'll never find one where the paint job is intact, the reds haven't faded, the guitar was stored in a controlled environment, and it has tone for days....plus everything is original and the guitar is just perfectly dialed in. This is a unicorn. 

Buying a vintage Fender is a crapshoot. Most have been taken apart and monkeyed with--this one is a one-of-a-kind, and it plays and sounds like it. I sold a 1962 recently, and it went for the same price, but wasn't as drop dead immaculate as this one. It has all the same parts, including the mint green guard which hasn't faded, and the pickups and such, but this is the standout. 

I've tried taking photos of all the obvious imperfections which are included in the photo array. The video is the guitar plugged straight into a Gibson GA-15 amp with no outboard pedals. Enjoy! This is the heart of rock and roll!
