I used a tele bridge cut for a humbucker and sawed off the end part (where the strings are fed in, otherwise the strings would hit it on the way to the jazzmaster bridge) then took a jazzmaster bridge, sawed off the posts so that it was flat on the bottom, then bolted the jazzmaster bridge onto the telebridge and fit it onto the body and drilled and screwed it down. Totally pointless.... but, in my opinion looks pretty damn cool. I also used a dremel to draw some abstract stuff and mainly some eyeballs on the guitar. I affectionately call this baby the "ratslapper" or "ratcaster." Just because it's a perfect example of "ratrodding" with guitars instead of cars. This guitar has a vintage modified jazzmaster body, vm jaguar neck pickup and an affinity jazzmaster humbucker, replacement maple fretboard neck, vintage tuners and has three switches in the upper controls that aren't hooked up, there for looks or mods. This will be the next demo I have up on my youtube channel as I really dig it. I'm including a link to the demo for this guitar so, if you like what you hear on youtube, subscribe, like and share. Thanks. There are lots more guitar build demos, music videos and more on my channel. If you have any questions, just message me. NOTE: As I've played this guitar more, I noticed the middle position pickup select sounds "out of phase" making it a fantastic slide tone. Extra Note: I also make custom guitars from the ground up, again, just message me.
