We have quite a rare bird here, Gretsch collectors! What I can find out is that there may have only been 50 made of this model. There were conflicts in the catalog with other jets and this was discontinued quickly. The serial, 1759, dates it to 1947. As it is, it plays and sounds great! The action is great up and down, I could find no issues. The neck looks flat with no twists! There is a crack running down the neck. It's was repaired poorly to look at but seems to hold the crack firm. I'd guess that the buttons are replacement but the rest of the guitar is stock. Unfortunately, the case is missing. Though it will be shipped in something to protect it. Please ask any questions. I'm glad to talk via phone or will take any photos you want. I'd like to avoid tire kicking post receiving the guitar. . Overall, for its age it's in great shape. I here no bracing issues and it sounds great with the flatwounds currently on it. Thanks for
