This Marshall MG 250 DFX guitar amplifier has seen a lot of rehearsals but is in good working condition. This amp is loud and although it is a solid state amp, it still sounds like a Marshall.

It weighs in at roughly 50 pounds so the listing is for local pickup. However, if you pay the additional shipping costs I will ship it to you. Please note, several people have stated they will pay for shipping until the price of that shipping is known. See below for some insight.

Please note this unit is priced EXTREMELY competitive with similar amps (ie. check eBay).

In addition to the competitive pricing, I have marked this amp "as is" b/c I have not always owned this amp; even though I am aware of the amps profile-pedigree and how well they took care of it.

NOTE: These MG series of Marshall's have a dedicated fan on the back of the amp. The fans are notorious for becoming noisy or not fully functioning with age. With that in mind, I have not had a problem. But, you should be aware, that these fans do go bad as they are much like computer fans which have a short life span.  See Youtube for videos and DIY repairs.

That said, as long as I have owned it the amp has performed as expected; plug it in, turn it on....Marshall.

SHIPPING/HANDLING CONSIDERATIONS
This unit is roughly 30"W x 24"H x 16"D and weighs about 50lbs. A box to enclose this unit will probably need to be about 36"x30"x20", possibly a bit bigger. I'm not sure of the padding I will be using, but I'm suggesting that the total weight will be about +/- 55lbs.

Recently I had to figure out the cost from me in "Smallville, TN" to a gentleman in a small town DEEP in TX.
From what I learned, due to the size/weight, USPS will not ship it from my location. The nearest FedEx hub is ~20 miles north of me and they wanted roughly $240 to ship it. Based on UPS, my guess is that it would be about $135-$150 for shipping/handling.

Remember, these are not exact numbers but should help give you a rough estimate as to what you are looking at for total cost: $200.00 (amp) + $150.00 (s/h) = $350.00

So if you see someone selling these amps as "local pickup only", hopefully you'll have a better understanding as to what it may cost you. But as stated above, if you pay the cost, and if a local carrier will ship it from me to you, let's chat.
