2008 Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Mira -Core Model -Not S2 -Dark Maple -Crescent Moons - Original PRS Case

Here's a really fantastic guitar: a 2008 Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Mira in their beautiful Dark Maple finish. This model has a flamed maple cap, over a one-piece mahogany body with a really nice grain pattern, and a one-piece neck with a genuine rosewood fretboard topped with dot inlays with little crescent-moon inserts. Please note that any white marks in the photos are not dings or scratches, but glare or reflections caused by the flash. IF YOU NEED MORE PHOTOS, JUST LET ME KNOW.

This is the PRS "Core Model" Mira, and not the cheaper S-2 version. That means you get a one-piece neck, high-grade electronics, pickups mounted directly to the body instead of dangling from the pickguard, better body carving, engraved truss-rod cover, a mini-toggle switch for the coil tapping, and hardshell case instead of a cheap gigbag.

Other nice features include the combination of Mira Treble and Mira Bass open-coil pickups, the solid nickel wraparound bridge/tailpiece, transparent "lampshade" tone and volume controls, three-way pickup selector switch, three-ply pickguard, and the very fine Phase II locking tuners.

I don't have the little "Eagle" hang tag that originally came with the guitar, but another PRS collector used the "MODCAT" code from the label on the case to determine that the neck carve on this one is "Pattern Regular."

Excellent condition. I noticed a few VERY light polishing marks on the back, and some light pickmarks on the pickguard. But there are no scratches, dings, chips, breaks, buckle rash, worming, repairs, or modifications. No noticeable fret wear.

Comes with the original PRS case, with the black tolex exterior and black plush interior. Also comes with a "Guide to Stringing" (as if anybody needed that), two extra screws for the locking tuners, and the truss-rod wrench. The hardshell case is in excellent condition, with all latches, hinges, snaps, and handle working just fine. Nice and clean inside and out.
