Martin Vintage Series HD-28LSV Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Large Soundhole w/ Case

This is a beautiful playing and sounding Martin Vintage HD-28LSV Dreadnought. It is in fantastic condition with no dings, dents, or scratches anywhere on it and only very very light playwear. The pickguard shows a few pick swirls and there is one very small light clearcoar scratch on the back. Other than that, this guitar looks absolutely brand new. It will come with the original Martin hardshell case.

*These guitars come standard with Martin's Modified V neck profile. This particular instrument has had the neck altered by a professional luthier to mimic Martin's Modified Low Oval neck profile making the neck a touch more thin for improved playability.

This particular model was only manufactured for a few years in the early 2000's with only about 1200 ever made! The large soundhole and vintage appointments provides improved projection and playability over the standard. This is an awesome Vintage Series Martin!

The production model Martin HD-28V has been a favorite of discerning guitar players for many years. The vintage inspired appointments make these guitars as close as you can really get to a war time Martin in a newer guitar. After they introduced the Clarence White model they had an idea to borrow the large soundhole design of the CW and incorporate it into the already popular HD-28V. The result was this HD-28LSV. A vintage spec'd HD-28 with an oversized soundhole for added volume and projection. This guitar is an absolute cannon of a Martin. Whether you need to compete acoustically in a bluegrass setting or you are just looking for a nice dreadnaught to play some cowboy chords, this guitar will do it all. It has great action and it really fills up the room with warm and punchy low end plus that shimmering treble that only good dreadnaughts can really produce.
