This listing is for a vintage Saddle Lock Bridge from a 1982 (or possibly 1983) G&L L-2000E bass guitar. This bridge was made in Fullerton, California. USA on Fender Avenue in the original Fender (then Music Man, and now G&L) workshop. The stamped Serial Number on the bridge is B009249. Based on information from the GuitarsbyLeo website, the Serial Number puts the build date in mid 1982.
The bridge has a flat anodized black color. There are a few dings and scratches, but it looks pretty good for a 34 year old bridge. The bridge and six (6) bridge screws are included in the sale.
G&L currently sells a chrome saddle lock bridge for $80. This vintage anodized black bridge looks way cooler and it’s a vintage bridge . . . so you get all those years of extra mojo for free.
