About This Listing
EYE-CATCHING ... & very BLUE.
That pretty much sums up the affect this guitar has on an unsuspecting public.
Presenting Fender Japan's re-creation of a 1969 Telecaster in psychedelic #50 Blue Flower design, with a maple fingerboard: A CIJ version of the Blue Flower Telecaster as made in the U.S. between 1968 & 1970. The American vintage three-saddle string-through-body bridge offers chrome barrel saddles for classic Fender "Tele" tone.
& the sound? Through twin vintage-style single-coil OEM pickups on a basswood body, this Telecaster delivers warmth, twang, & a chunk of bite. The synthetic bone nut ensures excellent resonance & sustain, & the 1-piece slim C-shaped neck with 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard & 21 vintage frets is oh so comfortable, almost effortless to play.
Some reviewers have said that the student had exceeded the master on this guitar.
This particular unit was meticulously assembled on 24 July 2002 at Dyna Gakki in Nagano, Japan. Serial number: P075880. It weighs 3.2kg / 7lbs 1oz.
Includes black molded 4-clip Fender hard shell case. Also includes the QA tag, but no strap or other accessories.
